Force Sensitive Manipulation and Assembly

Lead controls and manipulation engineer for Intrinsic’s graduation project, assembling Eket furniture using force sensitive/learned robotic behavior. I wrote the underlying force sensitive controllers, designed each individual panel assembly skill as trajectories with force related success/failure criteria, wrote the full assembly state machine, and performed rigorous testing until the full box was assembled. I ran and performed the demo for Google X leadership as a final technical milestone for project Intrinsic’s graduation from Google X.
