Night Vision Goggles
Goggles to visualize the IR spectrum. The design uses a NOIR (no infrared filter) camera hooked into a Raspberry pi which is running Three.js code as a webserver to split the codex image into the correct format for the VR headset. Simultaneously, the Pi acts as a wireless access point and a DHCP server to assign cellphones a local IP address for TCP/IP wireless communication. Thus any cellphone can log into the Pi as a client to the Three.js server and display the image. The flashlight on the side is infrared, so is only seen by the camera, not our eyes.
Raspberry pi is in a lego case with bendable arm attached for adusting camera orientation. Pi is battery powered via 6AAs hooked into a UBEC.
